Was NSA's Adm Mike Rogers always the Russiagate spoiler?
For years, I've asked: Where is Adm Mike Rogers
Long-time readers will remember my 1000s of posts re: Russiagate. A common theme in those posts from years ago was that the NSA never bought in to the fairy tale that Trump colluded with Putin. That it was the Brennan-Clapper-Comey show. CIA-DNI-FBI. NSA didn’t join the party.
In fact, it was NSA head Adm Mike Rogers who tipped Trump about the phone taps, which led Trump to abruptly abandon his Trump Tower campaign command center immediately following the 2016 election and bolt to his Bedminster golf course.
That told me NSA head Adm Mike Rogers was a whitehat.
It made sense because not long before that, Rogers uncovered the massive abuse of FISA processes, where improper queries against the databases collected by NSA (Patriot Act) were routinely performed by FBI-sponsored contractors. The bottom line here was that there was widespread vacuuming of data by lots of nefarious actors. (Undoubtedly this information made its was to CIA, although intended for FBI consumption.)
With the public release of the Durham report annex and the disclosure by DNI Gabbard of emails between the main characters (B-C-C) is this gem where Clapper, the dumbest person to walk on planet earth, actually says: “That’s OUR story, and we’re stickin’ to it”. My God.
Brenna, Clapper and Comey suppressed dissenting voices within their silos in order to proceed with the Russiagate coup attempt. NSA did not.
Adm Mike Rogers did not, despite what must have been huge pressure to do so.
Back in my posts at that time, I repeatedly asked: “Where is Adm Mike Rogers?”. He went dark through all whole episode. But I wondered then and now whether he played a spoiler role throughout.
